Helping IT Workers Release Their Chocolate Hostage

The Log Prayer

Category: Prayers — Wednesday, September 13, 2006

“Backed up logs” have probably drawn more IT workers to religion than any book or clergyman.

When burnt offerings to the Porcelain god are burning in a one’s plugged posterior, even atheists are drawn to the power of prayer…

The Log Prayer:

Our Fiber, which art in Bran,

Hallowed be thy Peristalsis.

Thy cable come.

Log will be long,

and soft as it is in enema.

Pinch us this day our daily loaf.

And make sure it passes,

but does not splash against us.

And lead us not into constipation,

But deliver us from diarrhea.

For thine is the cable,

and the pebble,

and the gravy,

for ever and ever.

All Bran.
